LEAN into Records Management: Improving Processes Daily - Rising from the manufacturing world, Lean and Six Sigma together sought to relieve the great pressure point of achieving both quality and speed. The goal is to improve customer satisfaction by delivering them a better product or service faster. Lean, as applied in the services world, is a business improvement methodology that achieves the fastest, most effective rate of improvement in customer satisfaction, cost, quality, and process speed. In the two morning sessions, Jennifer McClain and Leon Reynolds will provide an overview into how Lean works and the steps needed to implement it into your Records Management processes. Following their presentation, attendees will have a better understanding for the need of a balanced process that can help their agency or department to focus on improving RM service quality.
Jennifer McClain & Leon Reynolds, LEAN, Northrop Grumman
