Morning Session
Managing a Records and Information Management Program - Should Records be stored on paper, in an electronic format, in a microform? How is a Records Inventory conducted? What are the steps in the development of a company-wide Records Retention Schedule? How are records archived? This session will assist you in making those decisions based upon certain characteristics of the records and your organizational environment.

Afternoon Session
Electronic Records Management - The general principles of records management apply to records in any format. Digital records (almost always referred to as electronic recordes) raise specific issues. It is more difficult to ensure that the content, context and structure of records are preserved and protected when the records do not have a physical existence. This session will explain digital records and information systems and help to develop records management and preservation strategies for electronic information.
